The Noida Cycling Club was founded on April 10, 2011 by Aman Puri to inculcate a culture of fitness and promote a carbon-neutral city. With this initiative, Mr Puri aimed to create a community of like-minded people to ride together on weekends and encourage newcomers to take up the sport and explore the city. From just a handful of people to over 7000 members at present, the NCC is among Asia’s biggest clubs today. Since its inception, the Noida Cycling Club has conducted over 1000 rides. Its members, who hail from all walks of life, strongly believe in the concept of biking to work, schools, colleges, and other places. The NCC has also collaborated with many NGOs in the last few years and performed many social cause rides.

The Commencement
The Initial Years
NCC was started when Aman Puri established NCC following his idea to devise a beginners’ oriented group for newbies which was immensely supported by Prateek Gupta, Mohsin Ahmed and Abhinav Gupta joining the initial rides and introducing the new group in town. So, a club that started with just 4 members, now boasts 5000+ members is a sign of how we have successfully conducted rides throughout the years.
NCC and Environment
NCC has always cared for the environment, and we are a proud group of cyclists promoting zero carbon footprint. We strongly believe in the concept of biking to work, school, colleges and other such places and produce zero carbon footprint. It also contributes towards a positive impact on health as we exercise and burn calories while sweating to work! NCC has also performed tree plantation rides in the past, wherein we planted tree saplings to promote tree plantation around the city, and our riders have taken part in many cyclothons to increase awareness about the environment and health.
